  • Our latest chanting event – I am third from the right, and the one who comes in with the high, octave-above melody overtop the chanting, once we really get into it:

  • For some odd reason, my internet connection is crappy today.  I’m going to try to download one and watch it off my PC instead.  How often does this group meet?

  • @everyday_yogi -

We started holding public kirtans this past summer. The one we did this weekend was our third. Usually, a month prior to the event, we meet weekly at Laurie’s house (she’s the one on piano) to rehearse, chant, play, etc. The kirtans are free to the public thus far; Bart (the one in the middle – he’s the channeler I’ve written about before, and the one that led the retreat I went to in Mexico) has paid for the costs of renting equipment/the hall/etc, all though this last time we had a donation box out for people that wanted to help. We’re trying to figure out a way to hold them more often and yet have it be financially viable, and Bart has dreams that eventually we’ll be traveling around and performing everywhere, since our kirtans are so ‘different’ than the usual kind of kirtan.

  • That was interesting and fun:)

  • YAY! I love Om Guru! that’s a fun one, it’s slower than I remember.
